NORTHBATT 7.5-12 F2 Battery 12V 7.5Ah VRLA - AGM

The NORTHBATT AGM series is a range of sealed, maintenance-free 12V VRLA batteries built with Absorptive Glass Mat (AGM) technology for stand-by power applications.

The sealed, spill-proof construction allows installation in any orientation - horizontal, vertical or sideways - without loss of performance, and removes the need for a dedicated battery room, acid-proof flooring or ventilation system.

Gas recombination technology keeps the battery essentially maintenance-free throughout its service life, with no need to check or top up electrolyte.

Depending on the model, the series offers a service life of 8 to 12 years in float or cyclic use, low self-discharge, and strong charge retention and recovery even after deep discharge, thanks to a balanced electrolyte and heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant lead-calcium-tin alloy grids.

The batteries support both float charging (13.7V ±0.1V per 12V unit) and cyclic charging (14.7V ±0.1V per 12V unit) in CC-CV mode, and can be stored for 3 to 6 months without significant capacity loss.

By capacity, the smaller units (e.g. 1.3-12, 2.3-12) are mainly aimed at security and general-purpose use, the mid-range models (5.0-12 to 7.5-12) cover UPS, security, alarms, security lighting and electric toys, the 9.0-12/12-12/18-12 models target UPS and electric toys, while from 26-12 upward the series is mainly used in UPS systems and similar stand-by power applications.
