Construction details

• The battery is sealed / maintenance-free, does not require water or electrolyte topping up.
• The plates (+) and (-) are designed for a long service life.
• The separators are Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM): porous fiberglass for maximum absorption and stable performance.
• The shell and lid are made of durable ABS plastic, UL94 V-0 class (with flame retardant).
• Terminals with brass inserts for maximum conductivity and durable connection.
• Self-adjusting pressure-relief valve for safe gas release and prevention of air/oxygen ingress.
• Manufactured in accordance with quality and environmental management standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001).

Installation / Maintenance Information

• The battery must be placed vertically on its base.
• It is designed for installation in external telecommunications / UPS / electronic installation cabinets or racks.
• The connection must be made with the appropriate M6 terminals and with a specific tightening torque for maximum safety and conductivity.
• Before first use: the battery must be fully charged with a suitable AGM / VRLA charger.
• During operation: the ideal temperature should be +20°C ~ +25°C in order to achieve maximum life.
• For stand-by systems (UPS / backup power supply): the charger must operate at the “float voltage” recommended by the manufacturer.
• Avoid deep discharge beyond acceptable limits: when used in discharge/charge cycles, the correct charge/discharge profile must be applied.

Operating and Charging

• Recommended “float” voltage: 2.27 Vpc @ 20°C or 2.25 Vpc @ 25°C.
• Recommended voltage for charge cycles: 2.45 Vpc.
• Temperature operating range: -15°C to +45°C.
• Recommended operating temperature: +20°C - +25°C for optimal performance and life.
• Suitable for use in UPS / EPS / telecommunications / backup power systems, where a constant 12 V voltage and reliability are required.
