Automatic Multicharger CTEK MXT 4.0

The MXT 4.0 is a fully automatic 8 step charger that delivers up to 4A to 24V batteries from 8Ah to 100Ah and is suitable for maintenance charging up to 250Ah. It can also be used in applications such as back-up systems, piste machinery, industrial cleaning machinery and wheelchairs. 

The MXT 4.0 features battery diagnosis to establish whether your battery can receive and retain a charge, a Recond mode for restoring and reconditioning stratified and deeply discharged batteries, an optimised cold charging mode and an AGM battery charging mode.

It charges all types of lead-acid batteries as well as GEL type batteries and due to its splash proof (IP65), it is suitable for use in a marine environment.

Charging in 8 steps

1. Removes harmful sulfur deposits before charging begins.
2. Battery diagnostic check. Charging starts if the battery is okay.
3. Main charging, the battery is charged to 80%.
4. Maximum charging, you can start your vehicle after this step.
5. Checks if the battery can hold a charge.
6. Replenishment mode for deeply discharged batteries.
7. Fully charged battery.
8. Maintenance charging.
