Automatic Multicharger CTEK MXT 14

The MXT 14 is a fully automatic 8-step charger that charges 24V batteries with capacities ranging from 28Ah to 300Ah and it is also suitable for maintenance charging up to 500Ah. It can charge the batteries of all professional vehicles such as trucks, tractors, buses and also it can be used in applications such as backup systems, industrial cleaning machines and wheelchairs. 

The MXT 14 features battery diagnostics to determine if your battery can receive and maintain charge, a Recond mode for resetting and repairing stratified and deeply discharged batteries, optimized cold charging mode and AGM battery charging mode.

It can also charge all types of lead-acid batteries as well as GEL type batteries while with the automatic temperature compensation function, the external temperature sensor can be mounted inside the positive clamp or near the battery and adjusts the voltage to the ambient temperature in conditions between -20°C and +50°C, reducing the risk of over- or under-charging.

Charging in 8 steps

  1. Removes harmful sulfur deposits before charging begins.
  2. Battery diagnostic check. Charging starts if the battery is okay.
  3. Main charging, the battery is charged to 80%.
  4. Maximum charging, you can start your vehicle after this step.
  5. Checks if the battery can hold a charge.
  6. Replenishment mode for deeply discharged batteries.
  7. Fully charged battery.
  8. Maintenance charging.
