The MXS 5.0 POLAR is an advanced microprocessor controlled battery charger with specially adapted AC and DC cables that can easily handle conditions down to -30ºC but also up to +50°C. It gives you unrivalled charging performance for lead-acid and gel batteries from 1.2Ah up to 110Ah. In maintenance mode, the MXS 5.0 POLAR uses CTEK’s patented float/pulse system and it is used for batteries up to 160Ah.

With tough and robust casing, a dedicated cold-weather mode and a special RECOND mode for reconditioning deeply discharged batteries, the MXS 5.0 POLAR is the perfect cold weather charger and maintainer. It was built for vehicles that require good battery care during the cold winter months, such as snowmobiles, ATVs, jeeps and agricultural vehicles.

It is delivered with a 5-year warranty.

Charging in 8 steps

1. Removes harmful sulfur deposits before charging begins.
2. Battery diagnostic check. Charging starts if the battery is okay.
3. Main charging, the battery is charged to 80%.
4. Maximum charging, you can start your vehicle after this step.
5. Checks if the battery can hold a charge.
6. Replenishment mode for deeply discharged batteries.
7. Fully charged battery.
8. Maintenance charging.
